#2 CALM IN THE CENTER OF THE STORM

Today's theme is all about SELF-CARE! And staying calm in the center of a storm. Being a Lighthouse, a Walking Blessing to all those around you.

In today's meditative and calming practice, we talk about ideas to relax the mind and body, keep the energy moving and boost the immune system in these challenging times.

Practices include:
-An opening meditation with mantras for world peace and divine protection, as well as calling in the directions and setting a protective energetic octahedron around ourselves and our auras.

-7-minute Left Nostril Breath of Fire to boost the immune system

-7-minute series to increase flexibility of the spine and move energy, set to Sat Narayan, our mantra for Inner Peace

-12 minutes of Kirtan Kriya (Sa Ta Na Ma), a meditation which has been extensively (and scientifically) researched and proven to boost memory, concentration, brain power, focus and even help with Alzheimers

-The Shamanic Life homework: Self Care (observation of negative self talk, limiting beliefs and patterns, and encouragement to do something special for yourself this week...epsom salt bath, a good book, give yourself a mani/pedi, or take a little time for yourself and meditate!)

I will be starting a practice of meditating 3 times per day (approx 10 minutes each time), beginning Monday 3/16, right here on Facebook Live on the Mari Dew Yoga page. Details and schedule coming this weekend.

I will be postponing my March 2020 live events, but I will be here more, offering practices and ideas to keep calm and healthy, even in the middle of chaotic times. Cultivating an inner world of Peace, so that we may radiate that Peace out to the world. Being a Walking Blessing.
